Tina C. Weiner

Tina Christenfeld Weiner has worked in publishing for four decades, most recently as the Publishing Director of Yale University Press, one of the largest American university presses. During her tenure, she was instrumental in forging co-publishing and distribution arrangements with many art museums, both here and abroad, and in launching a wide-range of innovative publishing initiatives. Tina has been a member of the board of the American Association of University Presses, has served on many of its committees and task forces, and was a frequent speaker at its annual meetings. She has also lectured at the University of Denver Summer Publishing Institute, the University of Chicago Museum Publishing Program, the International Association of Museum Publishers, and the New York University Center for Publishing. She has been a consultant to a variety of publishers and has served on the Freedom to Read Committee of the Association of American Publishers. She is a member of the board of the New Press, the Clifford Beers Clinic, and the Woodbridge Board of Police Commissioners (chair). Tina is a Fellow of Timothy Dwight College (Yale University) and a graduate of Smith College.
